FuRen Bemis spent this summer in Boston working on a Massachusetts ban on single use styrofoam, and then taught sailing for the remainder of the summer on the Charles River! Heading into my senior year at UConn! Super pumped! Very excited and nervous for the “real world”.

Jennifer Ringe – We have been so fortunate to have Miranda at Onaway for the We are so fortunate to have had our daughter Miranda Eisenman (Skytops ’18) attend Onaway for the past six summers and to watch her and her cousins Samantha and Gabrielle Ringe blossom at Camp. Thank you, Onaway!

Michelle Keyser is starting a new teaching job at a new school. As of now, 3rd grade reading interventionist, but with the possibility of being back in the classroom.

Sharon Reed is living in Chicago, working as an IT Consultant and traveling weekly to various locations in the US.

Jennifer Thorp Hemann – I enjoy living vicariously through my daughter Lauren’s fabulous summers at Onaway. She loved every minute of her Hilltops year, and I love every minute reconnecting with my Onaway friends.

Julia Harris Polk – I just delivered a new one-baby on June 26th, Camila Page Polk. We call her Millie and her favorite lullaby is White Coral Bells. Just before having Millie, I moved out to the East Bay of San Francisco to be near my husband’s family and for new professional opportunities.

Lucy Saltonstall – Looking forward to my second year at Northeastern University, studying math and finance and having a blast!!

Jordan Brown – I’m living in Queens and working in Manhattan, and missing the days of being outside all the time. I have beem lucky enough to run a half marathon and hike in Yosemite, and go on a 4-day backpacking trip in the Catskills this year!

Gevvie Stone – I am 14 months into Emergency Medicine residency, and I’m taking another hiatus to aim in Tokyo! I got to share that (crazy) goal and talk about my passions for rowing, medicine, and camp during an EP in July. It is incredibly special to feel the support of Onaway at my back!
