Camp Onaway

NEW FAMILIES

Welcome! I would love to introduce you to Onaway and learn about your family. The magic of an Onaway summer is found in the return to simple living, the close bonds formed between campers, aides, and counselors, and the feeling of community that comes from spending seven weeks living, learning and playing together. Are you ready to start the process for the 2026 Season? Applications and an explanation of our process for enrollment can be found here.

Are you interested in a future summer at Onaway? Please fill out the Prospective Camper Form and let us know more about your camper!

Three ways to learn more about Onaway:

  1. Phone Call: Schedule a call with Director, Barrie Pendergast: bpendergast@camponaway.org

  2. Schedule a Tour: One of the best ways to learn about Onaway is to see it in session. Meet the director, staff, and have a tour with our seasoned campers! Each family tour is led by Onaway’s senior campers. Typically our tours are one family per tour for an individualized experience; however, we do offer group tours during our visiting weekends: Fair, Trustees, and Cup Weekend.
To schedule a tour, click here. You will need to sign up for the PickAtime website to access the tour schedule.

  3. Open Houses: we have open house gatherings during the winter months so new families will be able to meet Onaway staff, campers, families and alumnae, and see a slide show of the past summer. Prospective campers and their families are encouraged to join us if there is a gathering in your area.

I look forward to hearing from you and learning more about your daughter!
